To stay ahead of the Coronavirus pandemic countries are going to have to rapidly increase their ability to test their citizens. This course has been designed to rapidly develop the competency of participants to create testing stations at healthcare facilities designed to ensure that it optimises the safety of patients and staff. Additionally, this course provides guidance on creating a treatment facility for patients with COVID-19. This course also focusses on COVID-19 preparedness at facilities that do not offer testing.
On completion of the course, a participant will be able to:

Participants are assessed by means of a multiple-choice questionnaire for which a pass rate of 70% is required.
Accredited according to the HPCSA’s Medical and Dental Board Guidelines for Healthcare Professionals for 6 Clinical CEU’s on Level 2
FPD will award successful participants with a certificate of completion of this course.
